Poncho is an opossum who loves his mom and the feeling is mutual. Except Poncho’s mom comes in the form of a beautiful, white German Shepherd named Hantu. The adorable creature was orphaned when his marsupial mom was hit by a car. Joeys are very tiny as babies; they can fit inside the palm of a hand and they require lots of attention and care. Hantu, who did not have any puppies of her own, became the perfect surrogate mother for the young animal.
