In 1935, a man named Dr. Thornwell Jacobs was growing increasingly frustrated with the lack of accurate information he needed for his studies on ancient civilizations. Determined to not make the same mistakes, he created the Crypt of Civilization, a massive time capsule filled with some of the world’s most peculiar oddities. The Crypt is located in Atlanta, Georgia, and serves as a permanent record of what life used to be like on earth.
