Far away from civilization in the remote northern parts of Khövsgöl Aimag in Mongolia lives the Tsaatan people. The Tsaatan are reindeer herders that made their way from Russia generations ago, and they are now one of the last remaining groups of nomadic reindeer herders in the world. There are innumerable things that make the Tsaatan people so fascinating, but one of the most compelling parts of their existence is how their people have managed to withstand thousands of years in subarctic climates, relocating between five and 10 times per year.
