Sometimes, all it takes is a simple act of kindness to save a life. Kelsey was a homeless dog. One day she was seen barely walking on an old bridge. She looked battered from living on the street. Her ribs were sticking out from starvation and her skin was raw and eaten away by mange. A good samaritan saw the sad pup and decided to help her. Kelsey was picked up and taken to a shelter. The pup was malnourished and full of sores. Veterinarians worked hard to help Kelsey regain her health. Despite her tough life, Kelsey gave humans the chance to take care of her and nurse her back to health. Little by little, Kelsey began to smile and even play with other canines. Her beautiful white fur grew back. Here are the photographs of Kelsey from rescue to recovery. Hopefully her story will inspire people to help other dogs.
