All too often, whenever we watch the news or read the paper, we find stories of children being bullied at school or teachers not caring about their pupils. Students and staff at Colonial Hills Elementary School in Worthington, Ohio, proved that there are some amazing and inspiring people out there. Matt Woodrum has spastic cerebral palsy, a condition affecting muscle movement. The 11-year-old was at a school race where he was given the option to sit out due to his physical condition. Matt was eager to be included in the event and began to run with his classmates. When the school kids passed Matt and eventually finished the race, his physical education teacher, John Blaine, walked alongside the fifth grader encouraging him to keep going.
