Thanks to [Kenya Wildlife Service](http://www.kws.org/) veterinarians and [The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust](http://www.sheldrickwildlifetrust.org/), a bull elephant that was targeted for his ivory tusks was saved. Poachers used a poison arrowhead that would slowly kill the animal so they could return later to steal the elephant’s ivory tusks.
