Actor Idris Elba knows a thing or two about following his dream. The Londoner is a successful thespian, DJ, director, model, and businessman, who continues to make all his ambitions into a reality. Elba has joined forces with the Brit drink Purdey’s with the campaign “Thrive On” to encourage everyone to keep on working towards their goals. The 43-year-old sat down with people from all walks of life and asked them what they wanted to be when they grow up. Some were simply surprised at the question while others chuckled at the actor, wanting to point out they were “old” already. Elba feels that regardless of age or where you are in life, there is always room for more. “Life is full of possibilities that are ours for the taking, and I’m looking forward to inspiring people to start thinking and acting in new ways, to really thrive,” explains Elba.
