3 Second Trick Reveals The Truth Behind Those ‘Perfect’ Instagram Photos. September 29, 2018

Moms always tell kids to stand up straight and there is a good reason for that. Good posture is important as it alleviates any sort of pressure and strain on the body. Standing properly reduces stress on the ligaments, muscles, and tendons. Poor posture increases your chances of injuries. Not to mention it can compromise your core muscles, the centre that holds the torso and hip alignment. On a more superficial note, bad posture makes you look bad in photos. Australian fitness expert Emily Skye has shared side-by-side photos showing the importance of good posture. The 31-year-old shot the images three seconds apart. She shared this secret with her 1.8 million Instagram followers so they know people in magazines don’t have perfect bodies, they just know the perfect way to pose.”My 3 second transformation! The left pic is with my tummy pushed out – the right is with my tummy flexed.Your posture, angles, posing & lighting makes a big difference! Next time you look at a photo of someone who looks “perfect” online or in a magazine remind yourself that the person in the photo doesn’t walk around looking like that! They’re posed, in their best angles with a tight or flexed tummy in “good” lighting. Nobody is perfect! Nobody has the perfect life, body, face, relationship or family etc. We’re all just imperfect humans. . Don’t strive for “perfection” or compare yourself to anyone else – just focus on being your best and embrace being YOU! We all need this reminder at times I think,” explains Skye.

“My “posture” transformation! Good posture makes all the difference! No only do you feel better & have less aches & pains but you look better & more confident too!” wrote the health expert on her Instagram account.
