Sometimes in life we see something happening that we just can’t let go. Often it’s something that just isn’t right. It’s always nice when someone steps in to try to right that wrong that is being done. That’s exactly what Amarri Hernandez and her boyfriend did back in April of 2016. They were flying out of St. Pete Airport back to their Pittsburgh home when they saw another man being hassled by the TSA. He was trying to get on a flight back home to Ohio but the agents wouldn’t let him bring a package on board. The man was obviously distraught as he was forced to throw the package into the garbage. Hernandez and her boyfriend went over to the garbage can and retrieved the package. When they got home they found a snow globe that was specially made as a keepsake. They took to Facebook to find the man and eventually they did. Both parties flew to Tampa to meet up and the globe was returned to the grateful couple. It’s always a great story when someone steps in to help right a wrong. The real question though is why was the man not allowed to take it on his flight to Ohio but this couple was allowed to bring it on their flight to Pittsburgh? It just shows you how inconsistent TSA can be.
