Elizabeth Hamel and Ann Hunt have led completely separate lives, despite the fact that they were born as twins. Unable to care for two children, their parents made the excruciating decision to put Ann up for adoption. For 78 years, the sisters hadn’t spent any time together, growing up in completely different households and each having families of their own. Now, they’ve finally been given a chance to reunite after nearly eight decades, and their meeting is just about as heartwarming as you might guess.
