Skydivers from all over the world came together with the goal to set a new world record. 164 high flyers built the largest vertical skydiving formation over Illinois. This was no easy feat as it took 13 attempts to beat the 2012 record set by 138 skydivers. Seven aircrafts released the jumpers and four videographers filmed the event as proof. The formation looked like a colorful flower. The jumpers trained in Spain, Australia, and different parts of the United States to achieve their goal. After all, records are meant to be broken.
