Streets are supposed to be shared by everyone: including sheep. Hundreds of the woolly animal took a street hostage by being the only ones on the road. European cities let farmers pass through urban areas, allowing them to move their livestock from farms to markets or even better grazing. It may be common practice in this part of the world as the sheep seemed to be passing through without any fear or discomfort while the locals seemed just as laid back. Let’s just hope this is not done during the morning rush hour.
