Animals have a natural instinct that know when you need a good cuddle or just want to be silly and play. Mark Woods has been married twice, engaged three times and moved from London to Cornwall. Yet the one friend who has been constant in the last 18 years is his dog Walnut. The two love going to Porth Beach, Newquay in the United Kingdom. The whippet which is a greyhound-spaniel cross had been struggling with his health and Woods knew the end was nearing. He wanted to take Walnut to Porth Beach, the canine’s favourite place for his last walk. Woods invited other humans and their dogs to join him. He had no idea the turn out would be so big.
Since he posted his message on Facebook, people from all over the United Kingdom and the world have messaged him and Walnut with words of encouragement.
