Spotting a moose in the wild is an incredibly rare occurrence. In fact, even those who live in areas of the world heavily populated by them hardly get a chance to observe them, as they prefer to hang out away from humans and keep to themselves. However, not only did this Wyoming family get an incredibly cool moose-spotting, they also got something even rarer: They were able to capture on film the moment this male moose lost his antler. The antlers fall off and grow back every year (and the process doesn’t hurt the animal at all), but it’s still pretty exciting to be able to see it first hand.
