Losing weight is a difficult and long road, particularly for people whose goal is to drop 100 pounds and more. Individuals not only have to change what they eat but their relationship with food as well. Reddit user, *stillfat11*, shared photos of what her body looked like after losing over 200 pounds. The woman was happy with the amount of weight she was able to lose in two years but then she had to deal with the excess skin on her arms and belly. Despite her continued commitment to exercise, she was unable to tighten up so much skin. So she chose to have the extra skin surgically removed. Prior to the surgery, her weight was 167 pounds and she dropped down to 160 post surgery. Take a look at her inspiring transformation. She went many years trying different diets, losing weight, only to gain it back again. By the spring of 2014, she sought the help of an eating disorder counselor.
She was only 24 years old but she was having chest pains and was too tired to do anything. She began counting her daily calories and exercising on a stationary bike for 15 minutes.
The young woman had a brachioplasty done on her arms, flank liposuction, and Fleur-de-Lis abdominoplasty.
She works out six days a week, combining cardio, weights, and Zumba classes. Planning her meals two days in advanced has helped her to keep on track to eat healthy.
After the surgery she could not work out for two weeks nor could she lift anything above 10 pounds. The waiting made the results worth it.
The 26-year-old woman hopes to help and inspire others who are going through the same situation she was in. Her goal is that by sharing her journey, she is able to pay it forward.
