Kids may know the job title their mom and dad have at work, although they really have no clue what these grown-ups actually do. That is why every April 28th is Take Your Kid to Work Day or Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day. This is the perfect opportunity for children to get a little taste of what it’s like to have a job. The outing may give children the chance to appreciate their moms and dads a little more, a real understanding that money does just appear but has to be earned. Who knows, such exposure may be an early discovery of a passion or a calling for one of the little ones. Take a look at how serious these kids take their day working. They may have their parents to thank for being the perfect example of having a strong work ethic.
For #takeyourkidtoworkday – kids at @salesforce had to research, design and build pixel art in the windows. Basically, it was awesome. A photo posted by @marcyelyse on Apr 28, 2016 at 2:27pm PDT

Relatives of AHN employees spent time at West Penn Hospital’s STAR Simulation Center learning how to check a patient’s vitals, when and how to perform CPR, and how to insert a breathing tube. We hope they are inspired to follow in their family member’s footsteps and work for AHN in a few years. #takeyourkidtoworkday #kidsatwork A photo posted by Allegheny Health Network (@ahntoday) on Apr 28, 2016 at 8:01pm PDT
