25 Struggles Only People Working In Retail Will Understand. June 30, 2018

Working in retail isn’t necessarily a fun line of work. From an outsider’s point of view, working retail may even look easy. Sure it just looks like they organize clothes/items and ring up people at the cashier, but it’s actually so much more than that. Working in retail is one of the jobs where you’ll have the most customer interaction. And although retail work may look easy, keeping customers satisfied, unfortunately, is not. Not every customer is right, but of course the employees can’t tell the customer that. If you’ve worked in retail before, then you already understand which struggles I’m referring to. If you have no idea what I’m talking about, then well… Pay close attention to the content below. Who knows, maybe you’ll even become a better customer out of this.THERE’S NOTHING THERE.

I bet you feel good about yourself now.

If I don’t see them, they don’t see me.

Hey, I’m doing SOMETHING right?

You can joke all you want, but you ain’t getting s**t for free.

Nope, avoiding interaction with that one.

Finally, I thought you were never going to say it.

Got to go, got to go. Sorry, you can go ahead and speak to ANY ONE of the other employees.

I told you, but you just proceeded to make a fool of yourself anyways.

And you start questioning how a person can be so incomprehensible.

When is this company going to hire more people?!

How long can someone really talk about the same thing over and over?

Oh no, it’s not like I took a great amount of time and effort or anything.

This is when you know it’s time to disappear and fast.

And a warm tingly feeling fills you up inside.

No I don’t, I just like to wear this employee shirt out in public.

Don’t need to tell me twice, see ya later!

Just don’t. If you have any decency in you, just don’t.

It’s pretty inevitable in this line of work.

And you just know that today is going to be a good day.

What am I? A math magician?

Obviously not that great, but thanks for asking.

Do you see me looking at you right now? I hope you do.

My deepest apologies that you can’t afford anything in here.
