Here’s an instrument you’ve never heard before. It’s called a yaybahar and it’s an electric-free, totally acoustic instrument. The vibrations from the strings are transmitted through the coiled springs to drums at the end of the frame. The vibrations are turned into sound by the membranes which echo back and forth on the springs.
